I have always believed that each of us has a responsibility to each other – a responsibility to work to make a difference in people’s lives and in our communities. My years in public service and my run for U.S. Senate have always been driven by those very intentions.
I know this is something we share. I want to thank you for your hospitality, generosity and commitment to our campaign.
Your hard work, tireless dedication and enthusiasm is inspiring and will continue to make a difference because together we built a movement that will help us make progress for years to come.
The challenges we face as a state and country are great. But I believe in our ability to meet them. I still believe, with all my heart, that we have the power to lift each other up, to improve the lives of our fellow human beings and that it is our absolute responsibility to do so. That will never change. We have work to do and I know we’ll find a way to do it together.
